Dave’s Cards and More (“we,” “us,” “our”) runs the online store at davescardsandmore.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit or buy from our store, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Information you give us

• When you place an order: your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address, plus the items you ordered.
• When you create an account: your name, email address, and password, along with your saved addresses and order history.
• When you contact us: the name, email address, and message you send through our contact form, by email, or by text.

Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe and PayPal. Your full card number is entered directly into their secure systems and is never stored on our website. We receive only limited details from them, such as the payment status, the last four digits of your card, and the card type.

Information collected automatically
When you browse our site, we and our service providers automatically collect some technical information, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at our site. Some of this is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).

How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Process, ship, and deliver your orders, including local pickup
• Send you order confirmations, shipping updates, and responses to your questions
• Calculate sales tax and shipping costs
• Maintain your account, if you create one
• Prevent fraud and keep our store secure
• Understand how our site is used and measure how well our advertising works
• Meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations

We only send you marketing emails if you have agreed to receive them, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Who we share your information with

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the store, and only as much as they need to do their job:

• Stripe and PayPal to process payments
• USPS, through WooCommerce Shipping, to create shipping labels and deliver your order
• WooCommerce and Automattic, the companies behind our store software, to calculate sales tax and shipping rates and to provide visitor statistics (Jetpack)
• Google to show our products in Google search and shopping results and to measure the results of our Google advertising
• Hostinger, the company that hosts our website

We may also share information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. We use them to:

• Keep the store working, such as remembering what’s in your cart and keeping you signed in. These are necessary for the site to function.
• Understand site traffic, through Jetpack statistics provided by Automattic.
• Measure advertising, through Google’s advertising tag, which tells us when a visit that started from a Google ad leads to a purchase.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the store, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them. You can control how Google uses your information for ads at https://myadcenter.google.com.

Embedded content

Some pages include embedded content from other websites, such as YouTube videos. That content behaves as if you visited the other website directly, and those websites may collect information about you under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep your information

We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfill your order and to meet our tax and accounting obligations. Account information is kept until you ask us to delete your account. Contact form messages are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up.

How we protect your information

Our site uses encrypted HTTPS connections, and payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, which follow the payment card industry’s security standards. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Your choices and rights

You can:

• Review and update your account details at any time under My Account
• Ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Ask us to correct or delete your personal information, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons
• Unsubscribe from any marketing emails using the link in the email

Children’s privacy

Our store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
